Radio Metro Argentina firstly known by LRL728 95.1 MHz FM. its began broadcasting on November 7, 1988 under the name Z95 FM. It was a station dedicated to the world of dance music, highlighting speakers like BB Sanzo, H. Scanner and Marcela Feudale.
On January 6, 1991 the station suddenly changed its programming and conductors, becoming Frequency 95 – Del Plata, transmitting in duplex with Radio Del Plata. Between 1994 and 1996, the station had several names: Radio City (1995) and Station 95 (1996).
